This month we caught up with Chief Operations Officer, Paul Seligman to ask him some questions about his experience working at Ciqurix.

What makes Ciqurix stand out?
The FCam Series is a completely unique system. It is our product and we are incredibly proud and passionate about its potential to make the world a safer place! I truly believe that our work today will have a big impact on the world and prevent future Grenfell, Notre Dame and rainforest fires.
Why did you choose to have your main office in Paignton?
It may strike someone on the outside as an unusual decision, but that is where Matt, our Head of Product Development, is based and it was clear from the very start that his expertise was vital.
Additionally, we knew that Paignton has a very deep pool of technically brilliant, highly qualified people, some of whom we are lucky enough to have on our team and others of whom will no doubt join us in the future. We went to Paignton because that is where the talent is!
What are you looking forward to in the next 12 months?
The next 12 months are going to be very exciting for Ciqurix. We are renewing our commitment to our distributors around the world and will be focusing our efforts on supporting sales through the various opportunities that they will open up to us.
As always, the FCam Series will develop and go from strength to strength. 2019/2020 will see the next generation of the FCamController; the FCamToGo; further software development and integration with other systems; and much more! It’s an exciting time for us all.
What do you look for in future employees?
Every person that we employ is an expert at what they do. There is no point bringing in experts and treating them as drones. Anyone who becomes part of the Ciqurix family needs to be prepared to bring solutions to the problems they encounter. They can be confident that they will be listened to, and their ideas actioned.
Where do you see Ciqurix in five years’ time?
New products, new ways to make the world a safer place. Routes to market all around the world. The same close-knit atmosphere of team-as-a-family, though!
