CHALLENGE:
High moisture levels, such as in environments with heavy fog, steam, or condensation, can trigger false alarms in traditional fire detection systems like smoke detectors. These sensors may mistake water vapor for smoke, leading to unnecessary disruptions and costly downtime. Additionally, the presence of airborne moisture can cause delay in traditional detection methods, as heat and smoke disperse differently.
SOLUTION:
The FCam System’s dual sensor technology maintains reliability in areas of high airborne moisture content because it is not scanning for smoke or heat, but for flame. Flame behaves the same way in all environments, so the FCam System does too.
