THE CIQURIX CORE SYSTEM
CORE is a fire system which provides primary fire detection using multi-spectral video processing, with all analytics carried out onboard the detection device. It is designed for compliance to BS5839-1 (UK fire standard), uses fire-resistant cabling, and will continue to operate from its internal battery supply for over 24 hours during mains failure. CORE integrates seamlessly into other systems (fire alarm, automatic suppression, remote monitoring, etc).

QLS
Ciqurix QLS Protocol is how CORE devices communicate with each other, and it is also how CORE field devices get power (and backup power) from Hubs. It is connected using fire-resistant data cable, which must meet at least cat5e spec. QLS uses radial wiring, with each CORE detector and I/O module connected directly to the Control Hub or an Extension Hub using its own cable. Hubs are then interlinked via the Ciqurix Hublink protocol.
