THE CIQURIX CORE SYSTEM
CORE is a fire system which provides primary fire detection using multi-spectral video analytics onboard each detection device. It is designed for compliance to BS5839-1 (UK fire standard), uses fire-rated cabling, and will continue to operate from its internal battery supply for over 24 hours during power failure.
CORE integrates seamlessly into other systems (fire alarm, automatic suppression, remote monitoring, cctv, etc) and can generate alerts in the way most suited to you and your business.

QLS
Ciqurix QLS Protocol is how CORE devices communicate with each other, and it is also how CORE field devices get power (and backup power) from Hubs. It is connected using fire-resistant data cable, which must meet at least cat5e spec. QLS uses “star” wiring (also known as “hub & spoke”), so each CORE detector and I/O module is connected directly to the Control Hub or an Extension Hub using its own cable. Hubs are then interlinked via the Ciqurix Hublink protocol.
